If you have been following my work, I have dabbled in some self portraits for a lot of reasons but mainly for the challenge. I do self portraits all by myself, hence the name "self portrait." I have no assistants, I take my handy tripod, set it up, use my remote trigger and play around with lots of shots running back and forth to check the result, change, take another, change, etc. until I am somewhat happy.
The reason I am posting on this shoot, is because to date I have never done anything like it and it was incredible.
From my apartment, I bike to the nearest park which is about 2 miles away, park my bike and walk up the Boulder Creek Path, cross the bridge and to Elephant Buttress, this is the view from the path:

Tripod setup, climbing over rocks, up and down, feeling like a kid again. My new remote is all of a sudden flipping out and doing continuous shots.
I run over rocks and up rocks and back down, as always the best thing to do is just turn everything OFF and calm the F down. After chilling for a few minutes, we try it again:
