Cornfields

I run by these cornfields pretty much every other day, blasting out sweat like no one's business, (I live in humid Texas) I really should come here tomorrow and dodge police and all the Frisco construction companies and get myself some corn, since no one ever seems to harvest it, it is just for show? Not sure, I am not a farmer, but it seems like it should be pretty soon.

Hmmm? Never thought of that....

I've never been asked to capture a newborn babe in a football helmet, to be honest, it never really entered my mind....but since I love new and interesting shots, couldn't believe my luck for this opportunity. What a beautiful young family celebrating their first baby!!!

Of course this sweet baby girl looked at us all like we had completely lost our marbles! After some soothing, we tried again, with dad under a black blanket holding her head. She still wasn't having any of it, but I got a few good ones.

What a super trooper! This sweet gal was incredibly patient with all our outfit changes, basket shots, dog shots, black backdrop shots and more. We could have gone on all day, but the baby is the boss and the boss said "enough is enough." Thanks Melanie and Jason!

I don't like having my photo taken, as most people. That's why I am the one behind the camera 90% of the time. But forcing myself to take self portraits gives me some freedom and expression about what I am going through at a certain point of time.
