I came across this recipe and wanted to do something different and try to photograph the ingredients in their simplest form. This recipe is like creme anglaise with beautiful touches of fresh ginger, orange, dark chocolate and vanilla bean.
When I was buying these ingredients at my local grocery store, the cashier stopped and asked me, "Do you know that these vanilla beans cost $11?" There were only 2 beans in the jar. "Yes", I said, "I know, this recipe better be good."
Well, it was the most amazing, dare I say, orgasmic moment.....I felt like I was Juliette Binoche in Au Chocolat for a brief second, drizzling this amazing brew over chicken or turkey or whatever that meat was in the movie, I forget, but you get the idea........Johnny Depp and Judi Dench were beyond themselves.....
If anyone wants the recipe, let me know, because it looks like nobody really goes to this blog anyways.......or do they?????
